"Evening Star"

An original design created by Shelley Greener and Linda Dearing, the raffle quilt for our 2011 show is an amazing tour de force of intricate design, Piecing and appliqué. The centerpiece of this queen size quilt is a feathered star that is beautifully enhanced by applique and celtic bias work. The fabrics combine with expert piecign and applique to bring the vision to life. As is our tradition, all work on the quilt is done by hand. This extraordinary design is further enhanced by an abundance of well executed hand quilting. It is truly a breath taking work of art, sure to become a treasured heirloom!

Of course, in order to win this beautiful quilt, you have to buy a ticket. Books of six tickets for $5 will be available this spring from the members of the First Dutchess Quilters Guild.
