Meet Teri Lucas!

Teri Lucas is an award winning machine quilter, with a passion for teaching free-motion machine quilting on a home sewing machine. ” I love to play with color and see what happens when I mix fabric, thread, batting, and time”. She has taught with American Quilter’s Society, Quilts, Inc. (Houston), Road to California, as well as Quilt Guilds and Quilt Shops.

Teri’s quilt “Twilight in the Bronx” appears as cover art on the album Gallimaufry by Generation Jones, a folk duo from the UK.

In October 2017 Teri will be teaching and speaking at the Dutchess Heritage Quilt Show.  She is the Community Editor (talent scout) and Blogger-in-Chief for Generation Q Magazine, and a BERNINA Brand Ambassador. Her work has appeared in Quilting Arts, Machine Quilting Unlimited, The Quilt Life, Generation Q Magazine and two books by Mary W Kerr.

Teri lives in the Bronx with her sweetie (as he is known on social media, 5 sewing machines, enough fabric for 15 quilts, enough thread to quilt 20, and in desperate need of batting."
