1506 Via Appia My Way
I took this photo while on the Appian Way in Rome. March 2010. Then in July of that year I took a Photoshop class with Kirby Smith at QBL where it was then manipulated in Photoshop Elements and printed on a fabric sheet. It was then sliced and machine quilted on to a black silk background. This quilt was then the inspiration for a larger version which is on exhibit in the International Quilt Festival in Houston this November.
